Valentine Tag

Hello Bloggers!
This is a tag I made for a swap with my dear friend Mary Larner in the U.K. I also submitted it to the Tim Holtz Blog!

If this is something you would like to make, let me know and I will include it in the Vintage Valentine tutorial which will post later today!  Just leave me a comment below!
Thanks!
The tag was stamped with Tim Holtz's "To My Valentine" stamp,
then I outlined it with sparkly ink from a gel pen.
I added Prima Flowers, German Scrap and Tim Holtz corners in Bronze.  I sprayed it with gold Glimmer Mist, and added amber gemstones around the edges.  I used a keyhole brad, and tied a key with brownish-red ribbon to the top.
Lastly, I adhered an image of a cupid from K & Company using pop-dots.

Dear Friends,
I am sorry, but the backlight on my laptop is STILL malfunctioning and I have not been able to post the Vintage Valentines tutorial yet.  Please bear with me, I am getting it repaired, and as soon as I can, will post the tutorial.

*Will be posting Saturday February 2nd.

Check back tomorrow and hopefully it will be up!
Until then,
Happy Creating!

Vintage Collage Valentines 2013

Hello Bloggers!
I have designed two Vintage Collage Valentines that I will be sharing with you today.
There are two ways to learn how to make them:
1. Take the class on February 6, 2012 at InkPaperRubber, Overland Park, Kansas.
2. Take my tutorial here which will post on February 12th. Note: I am having some trouble with the backlight on my laptop, so it may be late in the day Wed. before I get the tutorial posted.  I am going to post from my iPhone and will have to re-take all the photographs!  Sorry!

I used Authentique Paper on one and Graphic 45 Paper on the other.
Here are the cards we will make:

This is the front view of Card #1.
I used Authentique's "Lovely" Paper Line, Prima Flowers, and trims from JoAnn's
This is another view of Card #1

It was made from the Graphic 45's "A Place in Time" Paper Line, February page.
Prima flowers, German scrap and lace from InkPaperRubber were used to embellish.

You have a couple days to gather your supplies together,
as the tutorial will post on Wednesday the 9th.
Supplies used are:
Pre-made Cards from Recollections, in the 5 x 7 size, available at Michael's, with envelopes
Fabric glue, glue stick or tape runner
Authentique "Lovely" paper using the double sided "Greetings" paper and "Beloved" paper
Graphic 45 "A Place in Time, February" double-sided paper
Basic Grey "Aspen Frost" music paper or music paper with reddish brown background
Prima Flowers in coordinating colors
German scrap in Bronze
Trim from JoAnn's in pink (or off-white and use Lindy's spray to color it)
Lace in a pumpkin color (or color of your choosing)
Pearl trim available at JoAnn's
Ribbon in coordinating color of your choice
I also used a stick pin.
If you have any questions leave a comment below!
See you Wednesday!
